March 2018/ Q1 overview - Xbox is King of the World with a Sea of exclusives. 50 releases and 23 console exclusives
It seems only yesterday it was January 1st and we launched GAMECOUNT to keep track of exclusive and here we are already with Quarter 1 already behind us. While the Xbox One managed to dominate the number of exclusives released in both January and February, there was still everything to play for in March. As per 2018 so far Microsofts Xbox S and X alike have smashed March without breaking a sweat with 23 exclusives launching in March including the the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves which as of this article has already sold through nearly 4 million copies. As has been the case for 2018 so far, there were more than 50% more releases on the Xbox Market place than either Sonys Playstation 4 or Nintendo Switch with a nice round total of 50 titles releasing in March.
